Ben Hoban
Managing Partner
Ben brings over 15 years of experience spanning alternative investments and executive search, providing him with an unparalleled network across the GP, LP, and advisor ecosystem.
As founder of Hoban Search, an alternatives-focused executive search firm, and a Partner at 1648 Advisory House, a strategy consulting practice, Ben developed deep insight into how institutional investors allocate capital, build teams, and make investment decisions.
At Sextant Capital, Ben drives the firm's technology vision and overall strategy. His conviction that proprietary data and AI-driven analytics can transform the opaque secondary market is the foundation of Sextant's intelligence-first approach.

Marielle Chuang
Partner
Marielle holds a PhD in Quantitative Real Estate from the University of Cambridge, where her research focused on statistical modelling of property markets and asset-level valuation methodologies.
Prior to Sextant Capital, Marielle worked in investment banking at JP Morgan within the Real Estate M&A group, advising on complex transactions across European property markets. She subsequently joined CBRE Investment Management, where she was responsible for asset-level underwriting and portfolio analytics.
At Sextant, Marielle leads underwriting and portfolio construction, applying her quantitative expertise to systematically evaluate secondary opportunities and optimise portfolio risk-return profiles.
